A Non Profit Organisation in the Eastern Cape started the initiative and this idea was popularised to Gauteng when a minister started supporting the idea. Stationed in the township were the Police station is to close to open a new station and to fare for the victims of any crime that requires police attention. The community are however using the program more for children and woman victims of aggression.
